Along with our core services, we offer a wide range of value added services.  We can design a bespoke package of services depending on your specific requirements. The services will be delivered by our experienced and skilled operations team.

We can provide a complete end to end process ensuring the management and visibility of your inventory and your customers orders. With our experienced operations we can help you achieve cost savings and greater efficiencies.

Our site also boasts a private rail siding which runs off the Norwich-Cambridge mainline at Eccles Road. This facility is a real bonus for customers looking to reduce their carbon footprint. Our central location at the heart of East Anglia makes us ideally situated for distribution throughout the region.

Storage of abnormal or non-standard goods

Johnston Logistics UK has the benefit of a large site with a generous amount of space between buildings. This has allowed us to provide specialist storage for unusually large or heavy items moved with the hired use of heavy lifting equipment.

A recent example of such a capability was a consignment of ship’s engines and parts, each engine weighing 50 tonnes, which were lifted using a 250 tonne crane. As an added benefit, these engines are held in Customs Warehousing thus optimising our client’s cash flow.

At Johnston Logistics UK we have the skill and space to cater for all your storage needs.


The site has two Trading Standards-approved weighbridges.  These are available for public use at a fee of £12.00 including VAT, which covers weighing empty and full, or visa versa. There is no need to book beforehand, just turn up.  Our weighbridges are open between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

Rental Units

If you need to rent a warehouse close to the Eastern docks, with railhead and excellent road access, then the Richard Johnston Ltd site is the perfect location.

We have a 130 acre site, with 13 ambient stores, ranging in size from 5,000 sq ft to 116,000 sq ft.

Design and Build

Alternatively, we can design and build the perfect bespoke warehouse for your needs on our designated for development land.
